Metal-weaving
rapier machines model STR

Metal-weaving
machines type STR are designed to produce woven gauzes
from wire, diameter 0,03
0,3 mm, mesh from 0,04
to 0,4 mm, linen and twill weave, corresponding by accuracy
to the standards GOST and DIN.
The material
of produced nets - non-ferrous metals and alloys on
their basis, low-carbon and stainless steel from wire,
diameter up to 0, 16 mm.
Inserting
weft wire into the shed is effected by means of thin
rigid rapier, which allows increasing the shed height
down to 26
33 mm. Thank to this warp wires tension
in the shedding process decreases, as well as their
breakability. Looms type STR are easy in operation,
stable and low-noised in operation.
Looms STR are manufactured
with two reeding widths 100 cm and 130 cm. It is possible
to produce looms with reeding widths 92, 102, 122 cm
on their basis.

Micronets
are used to produce printed circuit card in radio-electronic
industry, to apply pictures by means of serigraphy or
screen printing. Nets of low density are used as screening
elements from electromagnetic radiations. Nets produced
on looms STR are also used in aviation and space exploration,
in chemical and food industry, in machine-building.
